Faceted Bead Art Gazette April 6, 2007 Issue #0040 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The last few months have been quite busy with the New site design, writing up New tutorials and a few unexpected things. This has kept me from creating brand new designs, but it has encouraged me to pull out some old ideas and make them into patterns. First there was the Tile Patterns and now I am putting together several Beaded Curtain Patterns. These patterns had been put aside sometime ago, and I just had not gotten back to them. I am very glad to be able to get them out for you now. Book 1 for my FacetedBeadArt's Diagonal Right Angle Weave (1 string) Tutorial has been sent out to the testers. I have had some good feedback on it and hope to provide it here at the Yahoo Group soon. To Testers: All feedback is greatly appreciated. I thank those of you who have had a chance to work with the book and have e-mailed me already. I am planning to start Book 2 this month. I am hoping to work with the same testers on this one also, if they are available, but I will also want a couple new people to see if the tutorial can stand on its own. I will start with my list of back-up testers and should I need other volunteers, I hope you will consider helping me out. I have decided not to raise my prices back up to the original prices, but leave them as they are and just add a small Handling Fee to all online orders. This will enable you to purchase my patterns at a great price and still give me what I need to cover cost. For most patterns, even if you buy just 1, you will still be saving. (The only exception are the Small Suncatcher patterns, you will need to buy two to get the same price as before.) I hope you find this New way of pricing beneficial. This month's complimentary Pattern is also a Beaded Curtain. For those of you who have wanted to try out a curtain, this is your chance to see how it would come out.
