Faceted Bead Art Gazette November 1, 2004 Issue #0013 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The bead price changes have been put into effect. Luckily it was only 3˘ per bag. However, I did have to add a minimum order amount for orders that included individual bags of beads. This helped me keep prices down. The minimum order does not affect orders of patterns and bead kits, only orders that include the purchase of individual bags. Prices Lowered on Patterns. With the new technique of not tying off at the end of each row, I am removing a page from all Mural/Suncatcher patterns. For this reason I have decided to lower the cost of these patterns. All my Mural/Suncatcher patterns will now be $3.49. I am still in the process of updating all the pages on the web site, so please be patient. All pages should be back up and ready with the new prices by November 5th. This brings me to my next note... I am in the process of updating and re-doing a lot of the pages at the Web site. I felt once I added the Beaded Curtains things got a little jumbled, so I am working on making things a little more organized. I hope you find it easier to navigate and find what you are looking for. If you find any links that are not working, please let me know. Also, if you have any pages book marked, you may find the link does not work or the page has not been updated. Please check back later, as I have over 150 pages to update and it takes a bit of time to get to them all. Thank you for your patience during this re-construction. With all the work I am doing at the site and writing eBooks, I have put the Aspects of Beading part 2 on hold. I hope to get to it some day. I have gotten up new instructional eBooks. With all the research on the Aspects of Beading and with the help of Bev and Tammy I have discovered that the 2 Needle Right Angle Weave is the stitch I have been using. I finally found a site that showed in detail how to do the 2 needle Right Angle Weave (site in now down and I have not been able to access it for about 3 weeks). With the help of this site, and Bev and Tammy, I was able to create these new instructional eBooks. Using the 1 or 2 Needle Right Angle Weave with my patterns, and not tying off at the end of each row, permits you to bead faster and save on fishing line.
